    Yes using EX1 set Other #4 to ATW Couldnt find Partial

    I have got it into my G5 via SDI cable component – fcp 6.2,I had my inputs set at DVpro50 Info in the manual. You will have to use the AV cable for the sound. You will have to go into the menue to change the outpot. I’m waiting for my intel macpro to come in to get the hd quality.

    Theres a couple of Making of Once on that page. Can you identify the camera then? It looks like the EX1, are other Sony models similar?

    The Matt box that comes with the camera prevents putting a UV protection filter on.
    Try this company but make sure its deep enough to take screw on filters

    Just put a deposit on the Sony EX 1 camera
    What do you mean Rolling Shutter?
    I noticed a bit of latency when people move is that it?

    Thanks for the info so far guys.
    The EX1 is HDV 4:2:0
    FCP with 4:2:0 video is hard to color correct I believe.
    Whats your expierience working with HDV versus DVCPRO HD at 4:2:2.
    I think the HVX500 is better video qualitry than Sony EX1.
    Any thoughts appreciated
