Don, thanks for that useful bit of advice.
That was from my first shot.
It took more than a minute to warm up as I have another shot with the same flicker. The 3rd shot is ok.
Hopeful that could be in the Sony EX1/3 Manual next time.

Thanks Don. I brought it in using xdcamHD. I read it was better to have best quality first. However if its for SD I think I be rethinking my input settings. Maybe SDI in DVCPRO50.
I just called AJA as I have a AJA Kona3 and a ioLA
Suggested transferring to Betacam and back into FCP to encode using Episode pro. Better than a QuickTime down convert. Bitvice is good.

Fixed it I search goolge and got back to creative cow and found the solution. I did search the forum on cow but it didnt help. So try google as well.
I dumped the .comsonyxdcam prefs

Thanks Don I believe I can run the 30 ” from my Kona3. Yes i read your info on one of the lists. How does it look compared to a Broadcast monitor??

I am still looking for that perfect broadcast lcd monitor 1080p/2k.

Any other 2k monitors out there for basic color correction SDI input?

I’d like my suite to be able to handle the RED 2 k camera as well as the EX1.

Please give us a few names.

Just wondering about buying a HD broadcast monitor. Is an SDI connection better than Component. Component would be a cheaper way to go. I can output either from Kona 3.
