    Most pro audio and video programs allow you to work with something called OMF Files. You can export an OMF (Time stamped Audio) from you Video program and open up the OMF in your audio program.

    Go for the Maginify Glass Toll first and highlight the area. This will make it bigger. Then switch to the scissor tool and make a cut.

    Once you have made a cut you can also trim the length of the file by grabbing the lower corners of it and dragging.

    use spotlight to find your audio midi setup utility. Open it up. Then go to the Audio menu and do an “Aggregate Device” Use the help section to get you through it. Doing this will turn the two devices into 1 big device.
