did you find a solution for the problem ?

i think what you are looking for is an ingest.
Some kind of automation to change parts of a program in time.

Avid calls this: iNEWS or MAM Interplay.

these systems are able to process these kind of tasks automated.
They also do encoding in the background.

And they help with editing on more than one editing system.

Here in Hamburg there are 2 Universities that are running Interplay for
their Video Content (https://www(dot)haw-hamburg(dot)de)

it´s 2012 and still no 64 bit Quicktime.
Please can anyone tell us why Apple isn´t able to do that?

thanks for answering the post.

Why are you introducing the “less than consistent” world of QuickTime into the process when you can link directly to the R3D files and have far more control over the image?

> Because i´m finishing the project in AE and i use the Avid as “offline” editing Software.

As far as QuickTime, have you installed the latest QT component from RED available on https://www.red.com/support?
