    Hi,

    i´m working on MAC OS X 10.6.3
    MC5 5.0.3.4

    1. import of the large Quicktime Movies that are generated by the RED Camera.(Link to AMA FIles)
    2. Projekt set to 25p
    3. Transcode into DV 420

I can do this for 1 file and everything is fine.
    With 10 files too.
But if i transcode 300 files at ones, the complete Materials is Green.
I can see the size of the clips, but there is no video information….

Has anybody had this behaviour of MC 5 ?

    Thanx

    Peter

Why are you introducing the “less than consistent” world of QuickTime into the process when you can link directly to the R3D files and have far more control over the image?

As far as QuickTime, have you installed the latest QT component from RED available on https://www.red.com/support?

    Hi Micheal,

    thanks for answering the post.

Why are you introducing the “less than consistent” world of QuickTime into the process when you can link directly to the R3D files and have far more control over the image?

    > Because i´m finishing the project in AE and i use the Avid as “offline” editing Software.

As far as QuickTime, have you installed the latest QT component from RED available on https://www.red.com/support?

    >I´ve installed the Quicktime plug in. I can see the files on the “finder” level.

    > the Problem is, that i can transcode the clips in an “one by one ” transcoding process.
    > every time i try to transcode more than 10 or 20 clips, i get the “green” clips error.
