  • Um, when you say “can’t read” do you mean “can’t render the file without our demo X””?

WOnder if perhaps when you run Nuke in GUI mode that you have different settings for our license server environment variable for the interactive version of NUKE and render-only running of Nuke?

Are you running 64-bit Nuke on the render-farm in GUI mode and 32-bit Nuke when running as render-only machine? If so, then I suspect I know what is wrong.

ALso, you say you can “replace the node on the render machine” and then it starts working. Is there a chance that in your testing that you had all the licenses checked out at one point when you sent files to the render machine and later when you went to it to run in GUI mode on render 10 that there was one checked back in to use that wasn’t available before?

Are you trimming the clip where Twixtor is applied? If so you need to watch this tutorial for a workaround that FCP requires (it’s a but in FCP not Twixtor!)

The installer should have gotten rid of all the previous versions.

WHen you are running RSMB within AE, go to the Effects Control Window and bring up RSMB. CLick on the “About” link. What does the dialog box report as the version?

If you are running 4.02, then send us your project + source file to techsupport (at) revisionfx (dot) com

Are you using the latest version of RSMB ? We fixed a crashing bug with the 4.0.2 release of RSMB.

March 2, 2011 at 7:55 pm in reply to: Fieldskit in AE CS5 – 59.94 back to 29.97?

In addition to the Motion Estimated Blend mode, there is also =1 Frame Per Frame and =1 Fields Blend that will allow you to deinterlace from 29.97 interlaced to 29.97 progressive. The “=” sign means that the input frame rate is the same as tne output frame rate. The first mode “=1 Frame Per Frame” deinerlaces by using one field to create the missing scanlines, and the “=1 Fields Blend”

Have you found the manual that was installed with the plugin when you ran the installer? All these options are explained.
