Exactly the same problem on playback, hearing the sound but just white screen in place of the visuals.

I am experiencing some wierd playback as well, the Preview image when I am playing back seems to bleed allover the place. it becomes a smugged mess that then locks up. The video driver dropped out and back in and the whole thing locks up. I just loaded this a few days ago and just did the upgrade. I went back to version 8 that I had with no problems.
