  • Hi
surely a subclip does exactly what you want, providing you want to stay inside the avid. If you want it outside the avid then youd have to export it as a video file I think!

How well dd you know the background, experience , expertise, technical ability and quality standards of this “professional” when you hired her.

Like Ty suggests, can you post some audio with the problems?

What kind of camera are you using. Id try to record audio direct to the camera to save time / effort re syncing .
If youre using a proper video camera this will work. If youre using a DSLR then forget that.

  • Id suggest that, rather than designing out the issue from the electronics by reducing its frequency ability, you could design out the problem by modifying its use!
    1) As Richard says, having the 2 near each other is a lesson 1 no no.. But ALWAYS keep the microphone behind any speaker.
    2) Consider a better suited microphone. Too general a mic will always struggle. Try a lip mic or headworn mic as these only pick up from a very limited area around the mouth.
    3) Consider a feedback controller in the space as heard in rock concerts.
    4) Notch filter

    Hi.
So I think you are reading the specs correctly, although the floor and ceiling doesnt just refer to dialogue, but anything. I dont see any words that specify this range as dialogue?

Like you I have never seen ———- on any spec sheet.

Is this US or UK. Im very surprised youre not being asked to deliver to a Loudness value.
