“Searching and sorting in the Project Panel has been made dramatically faster.”
Sorry you’ll have to wait just a little longer….

[Shane Ross] “If you have ATI cards…make sure to DISABLE CUDA! Otherwise issues arise.”
Thanks for making mention of that Shane. Just to let you know we plan to have this resolved soon.

April 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro, all Playback devices are greyed out and none can be chosenHi Robert,
It looks like you have CS6. Is that correct? This is a Premiere Pro CC feature.
As far as the Export menu being grayed out. Make sure you first select the Timeline panel and then go to File>Export

We’ve addressed this in Premiere Pro CC. It still pops up every now and again with certain formats and system configs but in most cases its resolved.

For CS6 the options would be to transcode or use the ROVI plug-in (Win only) and I’m NOT 100% sure it does XAVC @ 2k. You would need to check with them.

April 2, 2014 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Adding Looks to Adjustment Layer – HANGS PREVIEW!Hi Soumendra ,
Can you tell us your system specs (OS, GPU, any 3rd hardware/software installed ect….). What version of Premiere Pro CC are you currently on?
Does this problem occur with all ‘Looks’ or a specific one?
Thanks!

Hi Jan,
I can’t speak specifically to how the latest drivers are performing with CS6 but I can tell you there are currently no open issues with the latest NVIDIA driver (332.76) with the 4800.
Hope that helps.

March 31, 2014 at 4:30 pm in reply to: Increasing waveform height in timeline WITHOUT increasing track heightI can ask the audio guys but I’m not aware of that option in the Timeline. Another idea would be to ‘Gang Source and Program’ monitor and have the Source monitor display the Audio waveform.
The ‘Gang Source and Program’ option is located in the Program or Source monitor wing menu.

Hi Jacob,
Here’s a video tutorial that highlights the trimming features we added in CS6. We’ve added further enhancements to Premiere Pro CC.
