OK that worked well. My test footage was only 6 min long so I maxed out the encoding settings: CBR 40 Mbps, M frames 2, N frames 8. Played nicely in my Blu-Ray player.

Thanks Chaddix – I hadn’t seen that setting, so I’ll check it out.
