I have seen this when the path to the gallery stills is incorrect or the gallery stills drive is off line.

The rocket I/O in resolve is via the PCIe bus, not via the external connectors. You need a BMD DeckLink or Ultrastudio card, depending on your system config, for the hd-Sdi grading monitor.

Which format and resolution are you rendering to?

Resolve for Mac works today without a Cuda GPU. You do however need a powerful OpenCL GPU and even then performance is limited in comparison to CUDA.

There is a user option to display all viewers on the Sdi out, or just color page.
Re legal- full range. Check out the manual, there is a whole section on this.

Will, you are going to have to provide a lot more detail for someone to guide you. Lets start with the system you are using, where you are adjusting controls, how the r3d looks in the media page compared to the color page, where you are adjusting sat. etc
