I highly recommend using v10 beta 3. We will have another update shortly and it makes sense to just start a new install with v10.

Sound like you are on v9 and need to use v10beta 3. The editing functionality is significantly greater than v9.

Sorry, I should have added, mine is set to best but I have an external monitor attached. You need to be in scaled. My mistake.
For cutting, just park the playhead and try command B. We will review the multi blade operation.

Hi Jake, we will look into the dots. The blade editing operation lets you select multiple slice points, as you move the blade along the clip your viewer updates so you can cut, cut, cut. if you want frame accurate cuts with the playhead, use Command B.
My retina MBP 15″ displays all the UI ok. I have it set for best for retina display. Are you on 15″?
The edit timeline can be made wider or taller with the section dividers so Im not sure what your missing here.Can you offer more detail on, “USB Soundsticks”? So I can have the guys check that operation?

Hi, please refer to the new config guides. Links are located on the BMD forum or go to the BMD support web site.
In brief, if on windows, select an AMD or NVIDIA GPU path and then use the cards listed in the guide. if on Linux, use NVidia, if Mac, please refer to the guide as its a little more complicated based on the many different how many GPUs you plan to use.Peter

Can you be sure you selected 1080 p…not PSF in your capture and playback settings. And check the camera rate too. I haven’t used this for a few days but worked fine for me at 24p.

In Resolve v10 the OpenCL performance is considerably closer to CUDA than previous versions. So the extra security required by the App Store sandboxing of apps and libraries won’t be a issue very soon. V10 is scheduled for release this quarter.
