thanks. Please let me know if you find out anything regarding the choppy footage. The only possibility that I think could have affected it, is that we had the image stabilizer on. It’s good to have on when shooting handheld, but when you’re shooting on a dolly and tripod, I think that it may affect it in such a way…still not sure though.

i am using a mix of different dvds but for the most part i have been using the same kind. everything from fujifilm to samsung pleomax dvd-r x8, but now that those have finished i have been using no names. I would always bythem in bundles of 80 or whatever the bundle may be. i would encounter the problem mainly with the samsung and the no names(plain white).

thank you very much! you have been a great help, I have found the problem. the main problem was that under VIEW and EXTERNAL VIDEO i had it on off. im sorry to bug you again but now it appears to be a problem with the camera i think and i dont know ifyou would know much about that but the problem is that now, the footage shows up on my lcd monitor on my sony DCR-PC110 camera when i have it in vcr mode but when i want to print to video and i hit the record button on my camera, it records to the memory of the camera, and when i put it into camera mode, the footage does not appear and nothing records but the lens cap, i went througkh all of the camera settings but nothing seems to work, and i never had this problem with this camera, any suggestions??

all the advice u have given me was very helpful. Thank You. but what do you mean when you say “nest your sequence” and how do I go by doing that?
