    Hi ken. Won’t work as there are no 64 bit windows drivers. I can however connect my 64 bit machine and read / copy disks with the proxy browsing software if I link my pdw700 via Ethernet.

    Hi Rene –
    I have only used FAM via usb with the PDWU1 or Firewire with the 700 to transfer proxies to a mac. I suspect it may be the ethernet transfer route which is yielding the different result.
    And as I think things through, I have only worked with HD422 files – though I can’t believe these would work and not SD files.

    Hi Thomas. I supply proxies from my pdw700 to clients to view. Windows machines just need the pdz1 software installed. Mac users need the FCP Transfer software. With mac you’ll get an error message saying FCP is not installed but it will still be possible to upload and view proxies. EX footage I\’m sure has a different story…
