Yep, you;d think after buying from Apple for 5 years that I would’ve learned …
The only reason I have , is that we have been booked solid for 6 months, and fell out of the loop.
I took my Apple Store Mgrs. word and was misinformed.
Lots of good, constructive points from “almost everyone here…especially needed the “been there, done that” feedback.
I was aggravated at “myself: for missing the boat on the New stuff coming out, and took it out on Apple.
But hey…good news I Did buy the stock 3 years ago! -
O come on we’ve been asking, speculating wishing, for something like this for YEARS, regarding Laptops and they have been saying No nothing in the foreseable future. The day I spent my $ on the iMac I asked the Apple Store Mgr. “any chance of a better laptop being unvieled by Jobs next month”. “No, definitlet not, I’d know if there was even a hint”, that was his reply.
Sorry guys, but obviusly you dont operate your own business, or you’d understand the frustration. -
Yeah, smartass, at least GM & Ford lets you know a year in advance that the new models will be coming out.

Its not a LapTop, not as portable…. Point is they are making many Apple investors/supporters mad. Just read the Apple site posts. Either mark down the versions that are about to be replaced so that people that buy them days before the release of the new versions AT Least get a great buy.
Or give us the option to replace or upgrade at a fair price. What would it hurt? It would do nothing but show Apples commitment to its supporters. They have left me a bitter, bitter consumer, but what the heck I am sure word of mouth about how they treat us wont bug them in the least.
