I’m sorry I’m confused on what you mean. You mean the proper framerate?

  • wow first method works great just resizing and altering the solid. thanks!!

  • wow thanks. so it’s as simple as channel the bits per channel? 🙂

  • Walter, wow that is amazing. So where would I go to insert that code? the script editor? or does that actually go on the expression when you alt click the keyframe button?

  • -The random seed in the wiggle expression is based on the layer index (layer number) so this behavior is normal.-

Interesting! So if I need to put an adjustment layer over a layer with a wiggle this is unavoidable? it sounds like there should be a better way than using wiggle in that case. I have AfterShake but I find wiggle to be quick 😛

  • Uhm so I just tried using Dynamic Link and it did the exact same thing.
It loads the clips as precomps and when I check the 3d box and try to rotate the clip it rotates a frame but the image stays the same.

Import Premiere sequence does the same.
How do I turn off “auto precomping”

  • this is kind of silly. I just tried the Right-click Nest thing, it’s okay, but not exactly what I want to do. I don’t want to have to double click into a new sequence to make cut adjustments.

So yeah I guess it’s just manually do it while you edit.
Or when you get to the end, jam out to loud music while I spend 15 minutes manually doing it.

A flatten option should be available. For alpha tracks, Premiere could pop up and say “track whatever was identified as an alpha track, retain alpha properties yes or no?” and have it flatten down to two tracks or whatever.

Or a way to nest but be able to see the cuts. Sighh oh well, thanks guys 🙂

  • hello,

I kind of saw the “why do you want to do this” coming.

First reason, while I edit, I begin to stack upward. I am originally a Vegas editor so it’s the way I’ve come to edit.. Eventually the video tracks become so many that I like to “refresh myself” by bringing my achieved cuts to one track. When I come back the next day , I can start building fresh again, on top of Track 1, with my cuts secure on track 1. It helps with piece of mind.

Also, I copy and paste into After Effects. When it’s one track of consecutive edits, it pastes them cleanly from top to bottom.

    Thanks

  • my footage is already shot,, so in your professional opinion how could i achieve the BLINDING look ? do you know any sites that would offer light footage like that that maybe I could combine with a lens flare.

The point of my original post is that the lights appear to be “hotter than white”. I’ve seen something similiar to this in AE. I am asking on here because people here are experts in AE . How can I mimic this effect since I don’t have a multimillion dollar set/studio

    thanks

  • Understood. I have done similiar things with layer compositing and using stock footage of film burns etc. Maybe if I can find video of starburst with an alpha channel
