Manipulating motion blur
Is there a tutorial online somewhere on manipulating the motion blur in after effects?
for example, I’ve noticed on my keyframes when moving position the blur starts like 1 frame early, like there is a blur before you see a motion. is there a way to alter that? and also the amount of shutter etc…

You can set the shutter phase to adjust this behavior. Information is in After Effects Help:

You can alter motion blur samples per frame and set the shutter angle in the comp settings advanced tab.
Press ctrl K PC
Cmd K on mac
To get to comp settings.

I’m sorry I’m confused on what you mean. You mean the proper framerate?
