I do have a a brand new macbook pro. Have you used this product first hand? Would a stock macbook pro with firewire be able to keep a sustained HD stream (2 hours plus) combined with the io pro?

The Ki Pro looks like a killer unit at a great price. Obviously geared toward mac but you say CS4 PC will read apple pro-rez no problem?
I watched the video overview on the aja site and it said you could record up to 2 hours pro rez HQ. The shows that we are running are over 2 hours. Do they make larger drives to get beyond the 2 hours? I checked the site but could not find that info.

I am acutomed to allowing for safe action/safe title. the cropping extends well beyond your usual safe action or safe title.

Also… If I put the burnt DVD into my pc, windows media player plays it without any cropping.
