    Thanks, such a simple solution.

MPEG2 rendered and played back fine.
Although I couldn’t render progressive, only interlace.
I’m assuming that’s because my camera shot on 30I.

I remember something about de-interlace.. but I’m not too worried about it, though I would prefer progressive.

And the rendered Mpeg2 is only 2.5 Gig instead of the AVI’s 12.5 Gig, not that size really matters.

This leaves me wondering why I was always using AVI.

Thanks again, your time saved me a lot of time.

The reason why I am rendering to AVI is because I intend to burn the project to DVD.

I don’t know of a way to render from premiere direct to DVD VOB so I am rendering it to AVI which then can be converted to VOB format.

I am only able to render a max of 5 minutes worth without drawing a corrupt header. I’ve tried 30 min, 20, 15, 10 and all render with corrupt header.. citing bad length while processing chunk /RIFF:AVI

Do you have a solution to my problem?

Or know of a way to render/export a project direct to DVD format?
