Sound Forge allows you to edit the sound of your movie … for instance it is great to adjust the volume of different events
to get a consistent volume for your project.If you don’t already have a sound editor it is good to have
one and Sound Forge works seamlessly with Vegas. Under “options”
name Sound Forge as your sound editor, then you can
right click on the audio portion of an event and you will
choose “open with Sound Forge” … choose open copy on Sound
Forge and you can play with the audio.Paul

Hi Paul … here is the “hack” that allowed Vegas Platinum 9 to fully
utilize my systems memory resources (very similar to yours) and ended

When you use CFF Explorer, you’ll need to choose “run
as administrator” so it will allow you to modify the files.Paul

Not a wmv issue at all. Default values in Sony Vegas Platinum 9 do not allow a system to utilize more than 2 gigs of memory. I followed the directions on another forum to modify a few .dll files and it now works as it should. The fellow that came up with the solution let Sony know about it well before Platinum 9 was released yet the limitation is still there. Curious.

Today I split the 4 min 30 sec project into 7 small parts with the intention of rendering them separately and then knitting them
together. After trying all day, I have 2 of the seven parts rendered to .wmw.Rendering in any high definition format does not work properly.
Vegas Platinum 9 quite simply does work properly with my brand
spanking new Windows 7 and new computer. Pretty frustrating. -
I have only successfully rendered to .avi in low resolution. HD
rendering to.avi results in choppy video and sound. -
Hi John … I have been able to render in .mp4 and .avi with no problems.
