I’ve never had this problem until FCP V7.
The post house told me its a bug in V7.

Yes I’m exporting EDL’s for an Online house conform.
The reverse shots are not in reverse on the EDL, the in point is right but numbers run forward.

I’ve always had reverse shots show on EDL’s
Apple said it was a bug in FCP V7….but that was ages ago !!!

Exactly the same id the reference is connected or not

Current driver is 7.3.2.
I have also rolled back to old drivers and still the same.
A lot of people have mentioned about the reference input, I was always thinking that the Decklink card would have no problem capturing from a DVD player with or without a seperate reference ?
Also I didn’t have this problem before

Still the same when the reference is disconnected

Well a few people has asked about the video referencing…Not sure how to tackle this
Without looking, If I remember, I have black and burst fed to the ref input…I presume this is right ?

Well I just find it easier to grab selections from the DVD that way, the macro protection cant be the problem because it used to be fine, and yes, same problem importing Beta SP and yesterday a VHS ( yes really !! )
