Sorry, yes I mean dynamic link.
I don’t have any expressions applied. I haven’t tried making a new title in AE on the iMac but I’ll try that today. Thanks…..

  • Hi Walter
Brilliant, that has fixed the problem.
    Thank you SO much…

Yes the font is installed on both Macs.
On looking further into this it’s actually happening in After Effects which is where Premiere Pro is sourcing the the titles via linking.
When you open the After Effects project on the iMac it has the correct font but everything is oversized and offset which is what’s showing in Premiere Pro when linked.
I’ll put a post on the AE forum later but any suggestions on here would be great.
    Thanks

Over 2 months later and people are still complaining about this…including myself.
Clearly nothing is being done about this!

I managed to upgrade the CUDA drivers but not the NVIDIA web drivers.
It said not valid for this system…I also tried via the terminal but it was having none of it.
Also there is a bit of an update on this.
Today I have been working on Premiere Pro all day, everything was fine until I opened Photoshop (see photo attached)
I closed Photoshop and carried on working in PP as normal.
    TBC….

I believe I did run Premiere before opening the other apps….and yes, my iMac and Macbook Pro both NVIDIA graphics

I have more developments on this problem.
Today I had to fire up Final Cut Pro 7 to recut an old job (which surprisingly seemed to work perfectly with Yosemite)
I got the same graphics glitches, as I did with Quicktime X and iTunes.
So maybe it’s not an Adobe problem after all??

I also did the manual CUDA update on iMac and Macbook Pro and no difference.

  • I have an update on my problem…I’ve opened the project that keeps crashing on my iMac which also runs Mountain Lion and everything seems to be fine..Exporting without any crashing.
Clearly it must be a conflict with my Macbook Pro, can anyone advise on my next move…also I guess I should have heard of Superuser but haven’t !

    Thanks
