    Thanks for your replays.
Im Using the standard colorful from M100. I have trashed the prefs. The color preset seem to be stored in the project as well. I can use the same project on my Support laptop and it works fine. Could it be an issue with some other software like an old AE CS3?

    Hi,
I had a similar problem with V1.0 the sync was on/off in a 2 second pace, but this only when audio was enabled. Video only worked ok, but it seems to be solved with 1.01
    I will investigate further too.

    MacBook Pro 15″ 2.53MHZ
    OSX 10.5.8
    QT 7.62
    MATROX MXO2 1.5.1

  • HI,

All G4 models work with 8.2.3. But I would at least use a quicksilver 733MHz. the mirror dors are good machines, but be aware that Apple has sold a series which are very noisy (there is no way you want to work with it in your edit suite). the mirror 1.42MHz didn’t have the noise issue and are the fastest G4 available.
    My choices

    Quicksilver 733, 800, 933 or mirror 1.42MHz

    cheers
    Paul

    Hi
In the “expansion Slot utility” which is located in your System/Library/CoreServices you need to choose the 2nd option and the restart the mac. It will show that the card is not at the best speed, but dont worry its the only working way.

if numbers in your mac osx prefs pane- international- format is set to other then us, the system will crash on digitize. the easiest way it to change the region to “united states” , and the system should be stable again.
