If you simply need the duplicated tracks to play out of both channels:

After pasting in the copied clip … select both audio clips, and from the Modify menu – Stereo pair.

You can Pan and Zoom images with Keyframes. Select the clip in the Timeline and open it in the Viewer. Open Motion tab for access to keyframes.

Try this:

Send your sequence over to Soundtrack Pro: Send to STP Multitrack Project. Your markers will be visible. Now show the Podcast Track. It will appear below the Video Track. Duplicate the location of your video markers over to the Podcast track using the Blade Tool, or Shift+Command+M at the location of the playhead.

Now from the STP Menu: Export – FileType to Podcast/AAC file. Press the Podcast tab and select the Enhanced (images) option. This will output an audio only AAC file with a video still from the start of each selection (chapter). You can customize what chapter data is displayed in the STP Details tab prior to exporting. Just make sure you have the Podcast track selected prior to editing.

As far as searching for markers in FCP, have you tried right clicking a marker? The pull down menu will display each marker for easy access.

I just bought this Samsung 23 inch for $259. I’m expecting it Tuesday.

I’ll be using it with the MXO2 mini. The reviews are good. It has 2 HDMI inputs as well as DVI-D. I was concerned about any overscan issues. I found a forum thread stating it’s not a problem. I believe scanning is manually adjustable.

You can install it from your Snow Leopard disc. Look for the “Optional Installs” package on the disc.

Revert back to QT 7 for this. If QT 7 is not located in your Utilities folder, re-install it.

I created a few Services that are relative to video files – one for QT 10 and a second for QT 7. The Services allow me to open a QT movie in either version right from within the Finder.

I recall reading about a similar issue.

Try changing the file extension from .qcp to .wav … then check the file attributes. I would probably resample it to 48kHz, if necessary.

No promises that this will work. It’s worth a shot …
