.QCP file to .WAV? Recording cell phone calls…
Hi – I am working on a documentary. An important part of the movie is a daily phone recording that the subject of the film makes. It is a line you can call in and listen to his prerecorded message. Anyway, my old cell phone was able to call in and record the messages onto a microSD card. When I try to take the files into Final Cut Pro to edit, they are in a mysterious .qcp file. I have tried to do research on how to covert them to a .wav or .mp3 file, but have had no luck. Does anyone have any information on this?
For the future, I am trying to figure out a way to hook up my Blackberry Tour to my Macbook Pro so I can record that way. I am not sure if this is possible and I know that this is not Final Cut Pro related, but I thought I would mention it in case someone has experience with this. I have permission from the subject to record these calls.
Thanks very much for your time!
