in fact, thinking about it, i could get away with re-rendering the file to mxf again??? for me its the best quality, low lagging output file ive tried. is it easy enough to get mxf files onto DVD?

hey, thanks for the reply. the mxf idea works great, thanks for that. much cleaner and easier to work with now.
as for the final rendering though, could you go into a little more detail about which is best to render as. there are so many sub options to each category. and i cant find an 8.5mbps option within the mpeg sectipon. im presuming its not the best idea to render as hdv? and do you know why vlc wont play any mpeg2 rendered files?
