Peter,

I went with Voltaic HD, which as $39. Footage looks good, but it takes forever to transfer. I just can’t believe that FCP 7 wont take m2ts or mts files unless you plug the camera directly to the computer. Not efficient at all.

Compressor will not let me convert this footage. It is not allowing me to bring mts and m2ts files into Compressor?

I had the same problem and switching to 8 bit rendering fixed it. I have no idea why!

Thanks Raymond,

I have been doing a stand alone MOV and not Quicktime Conversion. I have also put the footage on its own sequence, and it didn’t stutter. I will try the Compressor option though. Thanks
