Bernard,
Glad to see your reply. I just talked to David Pollock, sales rep, and he directed me to the montreal support line. I left a message.
MetaSan iScsi 2.2.1.2610
Windows XP
The communication between our two HP workstations and the iScsi SAN via Gbe works flawlessly. The SAN connects directly to the workstations via the Gbe port on the motherboard. MetaSan connects via a second Gbe card. It is through the second card that the workstaions are connected to a Gbe Switch that we connect to our local network for internet, client files, graphics, audio, etc. The two workstations are the only clients on this switch. The switch connects to the LAN, basically making our two workstations their own work group.
Corruption of files moved from our LAN to our HP workstations (or vice-versa) comes in many forms. Clicks and pops appear in audio. Color streaks appear in Photoshop files. Programs or utilities become damaged.
Thanks for the help!
