I am a fan of Larry Jordan:

  • My understanding of the workflow for 2 tracks of audio is just that.

    I “break it apart” —>

    “Clip | Expand Audio Compnents”

and then in the I turn to “Stereo Left/Right”,

which I think is what you are looking for.

And IDK if there is a way to have this setup as a default for every timeline.

    Are those PlugIns “automatable”?

Is there a tutorial for the roundtrip of sending out the audio?

    Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the response.

Yes, exactly – I saw that EQ in the inspector and was wondering…

And what can be automated in Audio Automation anyway?

  • Have you used “OmniDiskSweeper” to sweep thru your hard drive
to see all the large files that include what you are searching for?

The Mavericks Boot drive has about 50 GB free at the moment,
and the USB 3 Seagate drive that the project is on has a few hundred GB free.

    and 18 GB of RAM.

    By “export to ProRes”

do you mean “Share to Master File” that is ProRes and a 2 hour file will be 40 GB?

or “Send to Compressor” and in compressor do “Burn Disk”?
