Your aquision frame rate needs to be the same as your delivery framerate. Framerate conversion is always a compromise.
If you keep duration unchanged then you have to lose frames so either fluid motion or blending. With little motion blending would be ok.Pat Horridge

You could export ALE of the key bins so tou can reimport if you need to.
I’ve had issues with MC merging and losing metadata. Not really got to bottom of logic. It maybe the order they are opened. So keep copies and export ALE first.Pat Horridge

MC 6.5 is an old version. Is it worth upgrading if a newer version gives support?

Not keen on auto correction tools. You get your mux how you want it and let an auto process “adjust” it.
Better to have a tool that measures and make the required adjustments the best way that suits the mix.Pat Horridge

Always better to work in NDF until right at the end and if DF needed convert then.
In NDF your duration isn’t accurate but its easier to do the calculation or work out what the NDF duration for actual runtime needs to be and work to that.Pat Horridge
