Windows 7 is about to go end of support there is no sense in in sticking with that. But my main worry would be your hardware. If you need Windows 7 I’m guessing your hardware isn’t current and resolve does need a suitably powerful system.

In theory you could AMA link the audio and transcode it.
Then relink the autosync clips to the selected transcode.
But I’d test first.

You just need to reAMA the audio on the second Avid system.
The drive path between Mac and PC is different so the AMA linking can’t see the sources.
Just make a new bin. AMA link the audio and it should pop back in the group clips.

I’d also add 60 frame handles are very small for an audio AAF.
I’d do at least 100 frames.
But best ask the dubbing mixer.

You have selected consolidate media.
That requires MC to make new masterclips and associated media to embed in the AAF file.
That is normal.
The tidyest method is to copy you seq to an empty bin.
Do the AAF.
A new sequence is created that’s liked to the new consolidated media.
But the AAF has a the media and composition information in it.
So you can delete the contents of that bin and all the associated media as its not needed now.
Many editors don’t bother as the space used for consolidated audio is very small.

I’m not sure because I don’t use the loudness control. I manually adjust my mix while monitoring the resultant loudness.
But I would imagine a loudness control would boost the gain over certain frequencies and less so in other frequencies.

In modern Post terms Loudness is a newe(er) way to measure the perceived volume of content R128 in Europe ATSC A/85 in America.
They work in similar but slightly different way.
Basically normal Audio meters don’t take account of how we hear sounds do give misleading results.
Loudness is frequency shaped to better mimic our hearing. And the R128 has a gate to ignore liw leave sounds.
I’m the, UK the result is a measurement over the whole programme that represents the integrated or average loudness over the programme. The right audio plugin like Nugen is the simplest solution. Here in the UK its measured in LUFS Loudness Units Full Scale.

I’ve seen this randomly on Macs.
Normally floating the Composer pane fixes it.

Will you need to go back to projects at some point? I’ve opened and worked on 15 year old Avid projects in current version. I have clients who can’t open a 5 year old premiere project.
