I just installed newer Decklink drivers so it trashed all of those settings, let’s see if it helps.

Thing is it works with a DV sequence, I am only seeing this with uncompressed 8 bit (only one I tried). And not with all effects. Seems like Apple are going strong on having DV, HDV et al to work fine but kind of forgets about uncompressed users. At least that is the feeling I get. Or it’s Black Magics drivers that don’t really cut it.

Maybe it’s time to try out a kona card. 🙂

I have chosen the Uncompressed 8 bit pal easy setup. So, I’m working in 8 bit uncompressed.

That explains a lot actually. I’ll try to check all flags next week when I have a fresh episode to work on. All I use from the mastering settings is a 60 second trailer of black, which I doubt would take 20 minutes.

I recently bought a pair of Yamaha HS 80M which are turning out to be really good. I don’t do a lot of sound finishing though, most of the projects I work on are sent to a audio studio. But the speakers are great, I have started to realize why audio people hate mp3. 🙂

That’s what I usually do. Now, what I would like is to adjust the field dominance setting on the clip and have my card change the dominance on the fly, in realtime and mixed in a timeline.
