    Ok, cheers. Now i’ll know for the next time. May give it a try setting a small project for those clips and then inserting them into a final render project set at 720.

    It’s worked out great. Computer didn’t have any problems dealing with it and the quality is spot on.

    However since it was late at night/early morning by the time i finished i previewed it on headphones, and the sound is all over the place… Ha, ha, ha! That will teach me not to monitor the sound properly because “it’s only a video”. That’ll be a bunch more hours of work and rendering the whole thing again.

    Thanks John. I’ve rendered 4 out of 5 so far, and did a short test-render out of one of them with the final format settings and the results are as good as i could wish for, with not obvious visible quality loss.

    Now just hoping that my computer can deal with the full load, otherwise i’ll try again dropping them to 35mbps.
