I read all your answers to my questions and I must say i am satisfied but the problem solved by Mr. Steve Roberts is not the right way because I allready use that for many time and not everytime is working well.
I will be more explicit this time.
I suppose everyone that use Afx for some time knows that when you need a short audio preview you just press Ctrl and by keeping the pointer of the mouse over the timeline for a short time you will have an audiopreview. Maybe the Adobe Team or just somebody else that consider to be smart enough in programming will make something like this for an short videopreview.(but letting the user to view the content of the layers that are out of the pasteboard!!!)
Let’s suppose you work with 10 layers and all of them are 3d layers that are arranged in all directions… those 10 layers are actually precomps of another 10 layers that are arranged as filmstrips – the filmstrips are multiple of pal layers(10×720) is easy to make a comp of 7200×576 but when you place that big-wide comp in a normal comp you will see just segments and in case you duplicate those precomps and make let’s see 100 duplicates I can bet that you will need to arrange them in a way that will never let the eye to see more than 2 times the same scene nearby(I mean a duplicate) well for a such case I suppose will be great to see the order of the filmstrips(their content) outside of the pasteboard, especially if they are moving or sliding or in case you move the camera thru them.
