Thank you for your response! I believe this is a native effect, as I have not added any plug-ins for this program, other than what came on the install disc. The effect in AFX is actually Transitions>Fades>Fade to White in AFX. I see in PPro a Fade to Black transition, but cant’ change it to Fade to White. I had wondered that since this is a “studio” of software, that it might be able to share effects across programs. Although I’ve been using PPro for about a year, I still consider myself a fairly new user and would not know how to import this effect to add to the library of effects. I had thought about converting it and then importing it as an avi, but I have never used AFX (on my list of programs to learn) and when I tried to ‘open’ this effect to see what it did, nothing happened. Of course, I had no footage or anything to transition…I was just trying to see if it opened. Perhaps I tried to open it incorrectly. Thank you both so much for your time and effort!
BTW, what third party plug-in do you have that has this effect?
