    Thanks.

I asked him to sent separate files. He did. I tried one just now. No error, but the folder in the comp only has one file (layer). He swears that he has separated them. Don’t know what else to try other than import as comp!

    Any ideas?

    Haven’t got illustrator to check.

To be honest, this is all fairly new to me, so whatever you think is best!

Great. So when I bring into AE, then all the correct options will come up?

How can I check they have done all the things I need them to do correctly their end?

Also, when it says “set the Video And Film document profiles…at the appropriate size for video or film work” – if I’m working in 1920 x 1080, should I tell them to set it as this?

I’m happy with ‘highly stylised’ 🙂

Just checking I’m going about it in the best way.

Great. So you think it’s doable and I’ll look good?

Thinking of asking the illustrator to build the whole table and characters as one image and then provide a file with all the elements so I can edit the individual elements as I see fit – but the angle will remain in perspective as its been designed as one image with that particular camera move in mind.

Then just zoom into head of table character and zoom out.

    Cool! Looking at Red Giant.

Which one of the 4 suites they do is best do you think?

    Hi,

No characters will be 2D too. Just want to make look 3D by animating the camera move from the character (close up face).

Don’t know how to use any 3D software and don’t own any.
