I have a AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB which I understand may be slow with AE6 as based on NVIDIA graphics card.

As a non Nvidia AE user, I think it’s worth it. Just do not think of using the native 3d yet (I get the feeling that Adobe will do something about the NVIDIA only issue). All the other new features are great and CS6 is faster.

Olly, as before, I’d recommend you download the trial and give it a spin.

The only thing NVIDIA does in AE CS6 is accelerate the new 3D ray tracing renderer. The Classic 3D renderer still runs entirely on the CPU.

I think the new global performance cache in CS6 is a huge leap forward for performance.
