i dont use decklink hd but i got the same trouble with inferno hd out. is it a hd or downconverted sd output on your card and do you use a hd or sd sdi monitor? sounds like your card switches from hd to sd or sd to hd out during record. but i m not sure…..

which color mode is your picture? maybe it s cmyk which is the color mode for print media – try to convert your picture into rgb mode.
