Well, I presume you’re using a Tablet ?
Open the Preferences “Common” and check Graphic Tablet.
(maybe high resolution coordinates as well).

What about and disconnect your polygons (Functions / Disconnect)…
(if you prefer to leave the original object intact you might prefer the Split-function)

Rotate them horizontal… and if still necessary set them to zero with Set Point Value.

Well, I should have mentioned that “Set Point Value”
applies to Polygons and Edges as well.

Try this:
Create a polygon or use the plane-object, move some points in all directions…
Select all points (or only the one you like to adjust)…
Go to Structure / Set Point Value…
In the Attributes-Manager change Y to Set, Val. 0, click Apply…
This should flatten all selected points to “ground 0”.

Well, I guess, it all depends on the object, the more complex the harder it becomes for the Algorithm to align or calculate the polygons… some stretching will occur.

Well, make the Boole-Object “Editable”,
select the Boole and all its children,
in the Object-Manager go to Objects “Connect”,
a new Polygon Object (Boole) appears in the Object-Manager,
delete the old Boole and its children.

Well, it’s the first time I hear someone having such issues with the”7600”…
(it might be just a problem with that particular card or your system ?)

With OSX there is no direct driver adjustments possible, so can’t commend on that.

Well, I am using an iMac 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / OSX 10.4.11 /
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT / 3GB RAM.

So far everything works very well with any software I am using (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Express, Toon Boom Studio / Digital Pro PLE, Cinema 4D 10.5 …
(Especially Enhanced OpenGL works beautifully with Cinema 4D).

Sorry, can’t commend on those other cards.
(I have only heard that some people had Enhanced OpenGL issues, not displaying the Shadows properly, with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 in Cinema 4D)
