Hard to say without a shipping HVX200 to test. Remember it’s also Hidef vs. SD, 2/3″ vs. 1/3″ and also way better potential glass on an ENG style camera like the Sony, 24p vs. 60i ,etc. Pretty much Apples to Oranges.

Err- can you elaborate a little on what you mean? Motion control is normally what’s referred to when you’re talking about doing composites or multi-pass photography with a computer controlled camera. What aspect of this process do you wish to use Motion for?

DVD player program to read the entire Video_TS folder. I believe PowerDVD does this.

Get an off the shelf VCR style DVD recorder. It’s fool proof and super quick. That’s what the low end clients will be more than happy with.

Yes- native 16:9. It’s got a lot of other tricks up its sleeve for standard definition as well. For example- you can shoot 720p slow motion and automatically get a downconvert to DV on tape. That means this is the only SD camera that shoots true slow motion in camera.

Probably it’s the interlace flicker(not sure what you mean by this-perhaps a deinterlacing filter) that’s causing it to look bad.

I’d also suggest a visit to an Adobe Premiere forum as I’ve been off that train for years.

AFAIK you have to step up to PPRO 1.5 for proper DVX100 usage. And make sure you are capturing at 29.97 not 24 or 23.98.

which brand adapter?
