Hmm hard to tell what’s wrong without seeing what it should look like. But I’d try recutting the same footage over again and add the transition again.

You have to export as QuickTime with Multitrack audio and then select which Roles go to which tracks. https://support.apple.com/kb/PH17904

But are you selecting file names or actually seeing full clips with frames in the Import window? It sounds like you’re dragging in the entirety of the card which is why you’re getting separate pieces of media.
That said I’ve heard of this issue before I believe you need a driver from Panasonic to resolve it:

Try mounting the card and selecting as media in the import window not just dumping all files into an event

Make sure the project settings are 1920×1080 and not 1080×1920.

Try making a new multicam clip with only the clip with the ‘right’ timecode, then add the other into the Angle Editor. Failing that, use the Timecode Generator filter and offset to match the tc you want.
