Also as someone whose lived on the other side of the curtain it’s reasonable to break down the various types of support we’re talking about. If your Mac itself dies and you are under warranty you have a worldwide army of stores and call in support that will correct things succinctly.
If you’re expecting a particular bug say in FCPX to be address, sending a note about it to Apple Feedback is the best way to get the ball rolling. Chances are they are already aware of the issue but it never hurts to add your voice, whether you get a direct reply of any sort or not.
A smaller developer might be more directly responsive because their volume of customers will be much smaller and in many cases their product much less complex to support. But I can assure you there are many many good folks at Apple watching out for you as an FCPX user.

Also as cool looking as the iPhone’s slow motion mode is, I don’t recommend using it. It looks like in order to get to the faster frame rate it samples a much smaller portion of the sensor and then blows it back up to 1080 on the fly. The result is significantly degraded visual quality in the final version. Which of course you can’t tell on the phone’s screen but really falls apart on a broadcast monitor.
I’ve shot some impromptu tests on a 6 Plus using the onboard slow motion vs. standard speed 1080p slowed down in FCPX with optical flow. The onboard always looks much worse visually though of course the motion quality is a little better. So keep it in mind.

Assuming you have matching timecode or all cameras shot some sort of audio- FCPX would be able to redo the syncing automatically. It’s fairly intelligent about connecting different takes with breaks. Or you could try in Xto7 if you wanted to transfer the original FCP 7 sequences directly. I’d read up a bit about it before going whole hog:

Have you optimized the footage? Could be a codec issue. Also are you sure it’s active in the angle editor? It’s the little TV icon on the top left of the track.

Are you talking about an HD version or a DVD output- i.e. standard definition. Not really much you can do to make up for resolution that’s not there to begin with.
