I always thought a better behavior would be to show all items if a search resulted in showing nothing. Cuz really- what good does showing nothing do?

I love the form factor of the Tascam but the way it devours batteries and forgets its settings as it dies makes it all but useless in production. Zoom recorders absolutely are the way to go at this price point.

Comes down to budget and what you want to do with the footage. Web cam/security are fine for surveillance but otherwise are fairly low image quality. If it’s rock bottom price- get an old dv camera with a remote control.

Are you sure nothing is typed into the search field- that will make the event appear to be empty.

Might you have accidentally hit a delete key while a keyword collection or event was selected? I’d go to the backup.

Doesn’t surprise me- Prores on a PC is always a bit dicey as a prospect. Is the shift impossible to live with or can you simply correct it back out when you’re done. Also a note to RED inquiring about ways to avoid this would be wise.

That sounds like a corrupted install. Try deleting and reinstalling FCPX from the Mac App Store. If the problem persists- go through https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203477

If you can make the bug happen reliably with repeatable steps— definitely drop Apple feedback.
