Hard to say with such a machine. But network connectivity and hard drive free space plus general system cleaning would be places to look. For example does it still happen with a brand new user account. etc.

Our co-production of the FCP EXPO had the largest concentration of Final Cut Pro X-centric presentations, including an Apple preso. You can follow here. On the show floor, FCPX was visible at the usual suspects booths- integrations with Softron, Cantemo, AJA, Blackmagic, etc.

Can you post an example screenshot. That’s generally a fixable flaw though not a stock built in function (of any editor I’m aware of…).

Yep- that would be my suggestion. Saves time and match should be 100% accurate.

Yep it’d be lovely if you could just select all angles as an “angle” for this precise thing. But then again it’s quite challenging to watch that way outside of FCPX anyways. So not sure it has a great use case.

Hmm- that particular machine is bit long in the tooth for large scale projects at least in FCPX. Especially with compound clips which tax things further.
Also graphics card is low on RAM compared to what’s available these days. But I get that not everyone is ready to blast into hyperspace with a new Mac Pro.
