New to FCPX, worked in 7 for a few years but I’d like to fix this in X if I can grasp it. I made a video and I’m very happy with it but I have a bright green pixel that’s stuck and I can’t figure out how to get it out. What’s making it more difficult is that I used stabilization and zoomed a bit on some of the shots so it’s effectively making the pixel bounce around and move positions. I was hoping to just isolate the color with a keyer, remove it and apply that to every clip but I just can’t figure it out. What could I do?

Can you post an example screenshot. That’s generally a fixable flaw though not a stock built in function (of any editor I’m aware of…).

May I suggest Digital Heaven which offers a dead pixel remover.

I think to do this right, you really need to go back and treat the original footage, then re-import it into the finished project and re-do all the other things you did to it.

you want to post this in the FC X techniques forum
this is for FCP & and under.

however, the simplest approach would be to fix the dead pixel BEFORE you do the stabilising.
