Definitely possible with FCPX but you’ll need the right gear and overall approach. Would definitely do thorough testing before committing to a specific platform.
Ingesting into 7 is definitely a possibility but you could also probably do this more efficiently with the right deck and Blackmagic or AJA capture hardware combo. Might be worth bringing in a workflow consultant if the project is important enough. And yes that was a shameless self-plug.

For that you should be using Compound Clips which can be used in Auditions. Multicams are for matching many different angles with multiple audio tracks.

Yeah Audition does not work with Multicam. For that I would suggest cutting into the same timeline multiple takes and using disable/enable to present multiple options.

Really depends what you’re looking for. I’ve not seen a one-size fits all title (in any app). I usually look for plugins/templates on a project-specific basis.

What’s the source? This typically happens with sample rate errors- i.e. MP3, non-AIF sources.

Nope- not possible. Use the version of Compressor that come with 7 or export directly to QuickTime from 7 then re-compress in 4.
