I shot it using an hvx, and I believe I shot the whole thing 1080i60..

When I “get info” on a clip in quicktime, this is the format

DVCPRO HD 1080i60, 1280 x 1080 (1888 x 1062), Millions

does that help?

How would I separate the fields to get 30 p?

Oh thanks Andrew.

I am very familiar with deinterlacing techniques- however, im not really trying to simply use a plugin.

There is a technique (i’ve used it years ago) to deinterlaced 60i footage by changing the pulldown (i think to 2:3)… making the 60 interlaced framess 30 progressive.

i’ve done this before in after effects, im just no sure how i did it!

any ideas?
