    Hi Kavin,
    thanks for the suggestion, I trashed the preferences and re-assigned the shortcut but it still behaves the same.
    Pity but not a disaster, I can still use the button.

    These are the settings I use for reviewing the trimmed clip before placing it on the timeline.
    So ctrl space should play exactly between the in and outpoint. Shift space should add two seconds before and after.
    Both functions do exactly the same however, both in the source panel and the timeline.
    There is a button for playing in to out, I just hoped it would be possible using a shortcut.

    Hmm, I’ll check it again, but I’m pretty sure it is set to ctrl space in my setup, but I changed quite a few shortcuts.

    Hi Ann
    Thanks for your answer. The shortcut to play in to out is ctrl space, I think thats default. Problem is that it includes two seconds pre- and postroll, wich I don’t want. Shift space is set for play in to out with pre and postroll. Both combinations perform excactly the same action.
