My problem is storage as well. I can easely delete around 50% of my footage i come home with. All i want in FCP is to view my footage, delete clips not wanted, then off to the editor.
found this link https://documentation.apple.com/en/finalcutpro/professionalformatsandworkflows/index.html#chapter=5%26section=4%26tasks=true
If i open clips that was offloaded by our old Powerbook G4, FCP7 gives me the option of deleting clips in log and transfer. Now that i offload on a newer Powerbook G4, i cant delete…
Sounds like a P2 card reader is the obvious solution???
My oldpowerbook didnt have FCP installed, but still P2CMSworked fine, so im very confused about this. Anyway, i formattet the newer Powerbook and copied the old one over, so at least its working now…
Thank you for your help
Nikolaj
i have FCP 4.5 installed. On my old powerbook i didnt have fcp installed but P2CMS worked perfectly well??
When you look at Apple specs for fcp it says you need an Intel processor. A powerbook hasnt, but fcp still loads up?
thanks
