I could really use a general better idea of how color spaces, screen input/output works. Maybe if someone know of a guide/tutorial I could read, I might solve the problem myself.

Im rendering out to .mov h264, and viewing in either VLC, Quicktime or K-multimediaplayer yields the same wrong black-level result. The only player a bit more towards the preview screen is Windows media player.
